| | Yes, folks. That is a true quote spoken tonight at the Tech Rehearsal on the stage of the prestigious Vilar Center in preparation for our Faculty Concert later this week.
You see, one of the Stage Managers found a sequin on the floor and asked which of us it belonged to. She knew very well that it didn't belong to any of us. It was left over from the Wizard of Oz performance recently held there.
Nevertheless, I said it was mine. Hence, a volley of laughter and the above quote-of-the-day. You betcha.
It's still cool. A chilly 52 degrees in Vail right now.
And the first day of Student Classes was cool, too! I have a bunch of good players and nice parents in my classes. And three Teachers training in the Book 2 Course I'm teaching.
Found a restaurant I like tonight - Foxnut. It's an Asian/Sushi place in Beaver Creek Village. I went by myself, but after a few minutes a group of teachers came in and joined me. The soup and lettuce rolls I ordered looked so good everyone of them ordered one or the other. They designated me as their "Flagship Eater"
So, either I eat flagships, or I serve as a beefeater, after a fashion.
